Hi, my name is Pasha, I have been studying Djembe since 2009 with native African teachers in Bay Area - Mamadou and Malima (Salifou) Kone.
I started this class to create a group of people who can dedicate time to learn West-African rhythms and tradition, perform at local musical events, and possibly travel to Africa together :) Experienced drummers are welcome to collaborate, if you like the idea! Contact me |
Beginner's Class in Palo Alto
Beginner's class happens every Saturday from 11 am till 12:30 pm at my house in Palo Alto, near the intersection of El Dorado & Bryant St (please call or email for the address).The beginner fee is $10 per class. Please bring your Djembe (a folding chair would also help!). A limited number of spare drums & chairs available.
